PIC Mission

Phuket International Church is an inter-denominational church family made up of individuals from many different nations. We read about the first International Church in Acts 11 and 13, where the story is told of the church at Antioch. That church family was made up of Jews, who were expatriates in Antioch, Greek-speaking Syrians, the local people in the city, and Europeans and Asians who were the unreached peoples of the day. The Church was missional and it was international. They took seriously the command of Christ to make disciples.

Our Mission & Vision

Our vision and mission is to help connect people to faith

God desires to have a relationship with us. He desires relationship so much that he was willing to sacrifice His son for us, so that we can have eternal life. We desire to show people the love of Christ through the things we say, do and the way we act and love those around us.

Mission & Purpose

The purpose of world missions is to spread a passion for the supremacy of God into people groups where there is no indigenous, evangelizing church. This assumes something about “disciples” and something about “nations.” These terms are used here – “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” My assumption about “disciples” is that they are people who have seen “the glory of God in the face of Christ” and who cherish “God in Christ” as the supreme value of their lives. My assumption about “nations” is that they are not geographic, political countries but “tribes, languages, peoples and ethnic groups”. Based on these two assumptions, then, the purpose of world missions is to spread a passion for the supremacy of God into people groups where there is no indigenous, evangelizing church.

Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn’t. Fight for us, O God, that we not drift numb and blind and foolish into vain and empty excitements.
